Do you need to import photos from your
iPod to your Mac? Since iTunes and
iPhotos only permit you to transfer photos
from your computer to your iPod, this task
may seem impossible. However, never

This software, made by the good folks at
Zelek Software, allows you to accomplish
the task of importing photos from your
iPod. You can purchase a registration key
for this software for $34.99 at
ZelekSoftware.com.
TubeSock
Looking to save and convert YouTube
videos for viewing (and listening) on your
iPod? Then you'll probably be interested in
TubeSock v1.0.1for Mac OS X v10.3.9 or
higher, from Stinkbot. This software
permits you to copy YouTube videos from
the web and put them on your video iPod.
(The software also allows you to download
the videos to a PlayStation Portable.)
However, if you do not have a video iPod
you can also rip the music from the
YouTube video and send it to your iPod.
This ingenious software costs $15 and is
available for download at Stinkbot.com.
Yamipod
Tired of relying on iTunes? Good news -
You do have other options. One is the
recently released freeware program called
Yamipod. It allows you to manage your
iPod's songs. This software can run on
Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux, and
enables you to play your music off your
iPod on your computer, copy music to and
from your iPod, and even manage news,
RSS feeds, and podcasts. Available at

for a donation amount of your choice at
the site.
iDictionary
Always wishing that you had a dictionary
with you when you are on the go? Prosit
Softwarehas developed a new version of
its software that permits you to use your
iPod as a dictionary reference. The
software features some neat tools and
