Institutional Shareholder Services, a large shareholder group in Walt Disney Company's stock, has spoken out with displeasure at the attendance or lack thereof of Steve Jobs at Disney board and committee meetings. In addition to this, the AFL-CIO union have officially announced that they have voted against Jobs returning to the board for the same general reason.

The group at AFL-CIO cite his medical condition as a reason for not re-electing Jobs. ISS on the other hand is okay with meetings being missed due to illness, but consider his attendance track record as valid reason for occlusion.

While Jobs holds more than 7% of Disney's stock, and has been on Disney's board of directors since 2006, where his money is might not be enough to keep his position.
